About This Painting
The historic ponds in Carshalton are my sanctuary. Early morning, before the town wakes, the water becomes a mirror—reflecting sky, trees, and the old cottages that have stood here for centuries. This painting took seven days because I kept coming back to adjust the reflections. Water has memory, and I wanted to capture that.
