Your 14-Day Right to Return

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 days to change your mind about your purchase of original artworks. No questions asked, full refund guaranteed.

Your cooling-off period starts the day you receive your artwork. You have until midnight 14 days later to notify us if you'd like to return it.

What You Can Return

Original Artworks

You can return any original watercolour painting within 14 days for a full refund.

  • • Must be in original condition (unframed, undamaged)
  • • Keep all packaging materials
  • • Contact us before returning
  • • Return shipping is your responsibility

Prints, Cards & Merchandise

Prints and merchandise are non-returnable unless damaged or defective.

Why? These are hygiene-sensitive items handled during production. However, if your item arrives damaged, we'll replace it or refund you immediately – just contact us within 48 hours with photos.

Commissioned Artworks

Custom commissions are non-returnable and non-refundable once completed and approved.

Why? Commissions are bespoke items created specifically for you. UK law exempts personalized goods from the 14-day return right. You'll approve the work before final payment.

How to Return an Artwork

Contact Us First

Email simon_stephens1978@icloud.com within 14 days of receiving your artwork. Include your order number.

Pack Carefully

Use the original packaging if possible. Artwork must be returned in the condition you received it (undamaged, unframed, clean). Keep the certificate of authenticity.

Ship It Back

Send to: 9a Stanley Road, Sutton, SM2 6TB, United Kingdom

Use tracked shipping and insure for the artwork's value. You're responsible for return shipping costs (unless the item is faulty).

Get Your Refund

Once I receive and inspect the artwork (usually within 2-3 days), I'll process your refund within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your artwork arrives damaged or is defective, I'll make it right immediately – at no cost to you.

If Damage Occurs:

  1. 1. Take photos of the damage and packaging immediately
  2. 2. Contact me within 48 hours of delivery
  3. 3. Don't dispose of packaging (needed for insurance claim)
  4. 4. I'll arrange a replacement or full refund plus return shipping

All artwork is fully insured during transit. You'll never be out of pocket if something goes wrong in delivery.

Refund Timeline

Day 1-2: I receive your returned artwork
Day 2-3: Inspection and approval
Day 3: Refund initiated to your original payment method
Day 3-10: Funds appear in your account (bank processing time)

Most refunds are processed within 7-10 business days total. You'll receive an email confirmation once the refund is issued.
