Why I Painted This
Daffodils are nature's first celebration of spring. Their bold yellow trumpets seem to shout "hope!" after winter's silence. This painting captures that infectious joy and energy that only daffodils can bring. I am deeply honoured that The Salvation Army UK selected this work to represent their 2026 Easter campaign — a symbol of hope, renewal, and community reaching 600,000 people across the UK.
